Celebrate Chinese New Year at home with Blue Dragon products
This year, Chinese New Year will be on 26th January. It is the year of the Ox. Chinese New Year is the most important date in the Chinese calendar and people take time from work to celebrate and get together with their family.

Different communities within China have different ways of celebrating Chinese New year.
The date of Chinese New Year depends on the Chinese Calendar which is guided by the Lunar months. Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring festival, and is celebrated for 15 days. Throughout the festival, different days have specific activities, for example, the Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day when the moon is full. The lanterns have riddles attached to them and people eat round dumplings called Yuan Xiao which are made of glutinous rice and red bean paste. The round shape of the sweets is important, it represents union and it is the first time of the year that the moon is round.
The colour red is important during the Spring festival, as it is thought to drive away bad luck.

and two additions to the more premium stir-fry sachet range - Blue Dragon Sweet & Sour with Coriander and Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli & Kaffir Lime.

Blue Dragon Stir Fry Relaunch
We have some great news, we have made some improvements to our stir fry sauces. The re-vamp includes improved recipes and new packaging designs with delicious recipe suggestions.
The updated packaging provides additional GDA information, nutritional breakdowns, cooking tips and key facts. All Blue Dragon stir fry sachets are now free from artificial ingredients, colours and preservatives. The salt level is also significantly reduced to reflect our ambition to make sure that a stir fry is a well-balanced meal for the family. A shopping list and cooking instructions are available on the back of packs, making both the shopping and cooking easier than ever.
A stir fry is now the perfect meal for any day of the week! It’s easy, quick, good value for money and of course incredibly tasty!
