Japanese Breaded Chicken Gougons (Chicken Katsu)
A favourite with parents and children alike!
Preparation:
- Lightly coat the chicken in flour, then dip into beaten eggs.
- Coat thoroghly with Blue Dragon Panko Breadcrumb mix.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan, wok or deep fat fryer.
- Deep-fry the coated chicken pieces until cooked through, golden brown and crispy.
- Put the chicken pieces onto kitchen paper to drain off the excess oil.
- Serve on a bed of rice with a green salad.
