Pan-fried Tuna Steak with a Ginger and Sesame Noodle Salad
Serve up this tuna dish for a quick and healthy supper
Preparation:
- Place noodles in a pan of boiling water and cook for 3 minutes, then drain.
- Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes before tossing in the noodles and spring greens.
- Stir-fry for two minutes, then add the soy sauce and stir well. Keep warm.
- Season the tuna with salt and pepper, brush each side with oil and then coat with sesame seeds. Add oil to the pan and and then pan-fry on each side for 4-6 minutes (depending on how pink you like it!). When cooked, cut each steak into angled pieces and arrange on the Ginger and Sesame Salad.
- Divide the noodles between four plates and top with a pan-fried tuna steak.
Useful tip:
100g dry noodles give about 250g ready for wok noodles... more
