Japanese Breaded Chicken Gougons (Chicken Katsu)

A favourite with parents and children alike!

Preparation:

  1. Lightly coat the chicken in flour, then dip into beaten eggs.
  2. Coat thoroghly with Blue Dragon Panko Breadcrumb mix.
  3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, wok or deep fat fryer.
  4. Deep-fry the coated chicken pieces until cooked through, golden brown and crispy.
  5. Put the chicken pieces onto kitchen paper to drain off the excess oil.
  6. Serve on a bed of rice with a green salad.
