Perfect 10 minute Stir Fry

Make the Perfect Stir Fry in 10 minutes with our 10 steps and tips!

Serves: 2
    • 2 sirloin steaks, cut into strips
    • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
    • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
    • Thumb sized piece of ginger, finely chopped
    • 1 chilli, finely chopped
    • 2 carrots, cut into sticks
    • Handful of tender-stem broccoli
    • Handful of mange tout
    • Handful of mushrooms
    • Handful of pak choi
    • 1 green pepper, chopped
    • 2 nests of Blue Dragon Wholewheat noodles
    • Blue Dragon Black Bean Stir Fry Sauce
    • Blue Dragon Sesame Oil


    To Garnish (optional):

    • Spring onions, finely chopped
    • Sesame seeds
    1. Cook your noodles according to the instructions on the back, drain & set aside. Make sure they still have bite to avoid sogginess.
    2. Get your wok really hot - watch for smoke!
    3. Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil (not olive or sesame oil as it will burn).
    4. Fry your steak until cooked through, remove from wok and set aside. Keep to add back in later.
    5. Splash more oil and aromatics: ginger, garlic and chilli in the wok - they only need a quick sizzle.
    6. Add firmer veggies into the wok, as they take longer to soften.
    7. Add softer veggies in for a quick sizzle. Adding the veg at different times makes sure they all stay a bit crunchy.
    8. Add protein and noodles into the wok at this point for the best texture.
    9. Pour over stir fry sauce and toss to coat. Try a wok toss if you're feeling brave!
    10. Drizzle with sesame oil or soy sauce to finish - this brings out the best flavour.
