Bang Bang Chicken Parcels

A snack that’s exploding with the taste of Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce! Proper Tasty’s Bang Bang Chicken Parcels are bursting with sweet, spicy and nutty flavour in every bite. They’re made for sharing, but you won’t want to!

  • Filling

    • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
    • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
    • 1 chilli, finely chopped
    • 100g carrots, diced
    • 1 red pepper, diced
    • 150g Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce
    • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
    • 3 tsp. smooth peanut butter
    • 1 lime, juiced
    • 1 teaspoon Blue Dragon Soy Sauce
    • Pepper, to taste


    • 7 sheets filo pastry
    • 3 eggs, beaten
    1. In a large bowl, mix together all of the ingredients except the eggs and the filo pastry to create the filling.
    2. Place a sheet of filo pastry onto a floured work surface and cut into 6 equal pieces.
    3. Brush the edges of each square with beaten egg.
    4. Spoon a teaspoon of mixture into the centre of each square.
    5. Fold each corner of the filo pastry up and twist them together to create the parcel shape.
    6. Deep fry in oil at 160°C for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
    7. Serve with extra Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli as a dipping sauce and enjoy!
